International Workers' Day


International Workers Day is a celebration of laborers and the working classes that first was promoted by the international labor movements, anarchists, socialists, and communists. The date was chosen for International Workers Day by the Second International to commemorate the Haymarket affair, which occurred in Chicago on 4th May 1886. Labour Day is a national public holiday in many countries. On this date people doesn't work and they stay in family.

Earth Day

Earth Day is the international day in which people do something to help the environment . April 22nd  people usually celebrate by doing something  outdoors such as planting trees, picking up roadside trash, conducting various programs for recycling and conservation, using recyclable containers for snacks and lunches. Symbols used by people to describe Earth Day include: an image or drawing of planet earth; a tree, a flower or leaves depicting growth; or the recycling symbol. Colors used for Earth Day include natural colors such as green, brown or blue.This date is important to educate people to respect the environment.

Louise Woodward

Louise Woodward was a British nanny that went to America to work. She worked for a baby called Matthew. One day he died and Louise was accused of murder him. She protested for her innocence. After trial she was life imprisoned. After more sentence, she deported from US and she returned to Britain. Now she is a dance instructor and the people don't know who she is.
